It’s time for spring cleaning! Put on your muck boots to clean up Lake Elizbeth in Allegheny Commons Park April 10-12, pick up litter on the South Side April 12, volunteer at Braddock Farms April 26, or join Allegheny Cleanways for multiple trash removal days.

🌸 Take in a Flowery Show

Find a bouquet of floral-inspired art from 14 different creatives at Bunker Projects in Bloomfield April 4 through May 18, enjoy bursts of color and fragrance at Phipps Conservatory’s Spring Flower Show through April 20, or find gorgeous views of pink blooms all over the city.

Find paintings and collages inspired by the life of Pittsburgh playwright August Wilson at August Taught Us by DS Kinsel, on display at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center until April 6. Then celebrate Wilson’s birthday on April 26 at a block party at his former house in the Hill District.
