Another week, another full plate of food news.

VegFeast Thanksgiving

Are your favorite turkey day foods everything but the turkey? Veg heads can rejoice in all of the side dishes with an early holiday dinner and dessert prepared by Onion Maiden and Sweet Alchemy. Sit down and dine with your neighbors or take it to-go on Nov. 11.

Permanent Home for Pierogi

The Polish pop-up Polska Laska is popular around town, but now owner Olive Beals is making a permanent press in Sharpsburg. Look forward to her dough-licious goods at the former Mindy’s Take & Bake on N. Canal St.

New Downtown Bites & Booze

The Italian Eatery Alta Via opened its second location near PPG Place, and around the corner, there’s a space-themed bar set to launch for takeoff this month. Space Bar will have a “molecular mixology” experience, plus food and treats like astronaut ice cream. Take a tour of the North Side’s Moonshot Museum then take the T Downtown for a galactic cocktail?

Don’t Miss This: Farm-To-Table Dinner

Churchview Farm’s summer dinner series with local chefs always sells out — so here’s your chance to claim a plate. Tickets go on sale Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. for sit-downs with restaurants like Station, EYV, Altius, The Parlor, and more. Have food allergies or restrictions? There's dinner for you!
