What Happens When Cops Are Linked to Extremist Groups?
It’s been two years since the Jan 6. insurrection at the Capitol. More than 60 Pennsylvanians have been charged in the attack, which was fueled by far-right groups like the Oath Keepers. David Harris, a Pitt Law professor focused on police behavior and national security, joins us to talk about the legal challenges of prosecuting rioters and what’s being done about local law enforcement officers with ties to extremist groups.
