Pgh Water Continues Line Replacement

PGH2O is investing $32 million into replacement projects in Bloomfield, Central Lawrenceville, Shadyside, and Highland Park. The project is part of the utility’s goal to replace residential lead service lines system-wide by the end of 2027; it estimates that 83% has been completed so far. [PGH2O]

POGOH Is Expanding to the Suburbs

Pittsburgh’s bike share program is adding stations outside the city limits, thanks to $1.5 million in federal transit money given to Allegheny County. POGOH is considering adding 17 stations in areas such as Millvale, Wilkinsburg, Edgewood, Swissvale, and Braddock. [Axios Pittsburgh]

Historic Hill District Building Gets A Boost

Gov. Josh Shapiro’s administration is investing $4.52 million into Pittsburgh region community projects through the Main Street Matters program — including $1 million toward renovations at the Hill District’s New Granada Building.
