Roads Close for Marathon Weekend

More than 52,000 people are expected to participate in 11 events across Saturday and Sunday, making it Pittsburgh’s largest marathon weekend yet. Check out maps for the 5K, full marathon, half marathon, Champion’s Mile, pet walk, and more. Plus, be prepared for these road closures.

Draft Spending Was More Than Its Return

City officials estimate that Pittsburgh spent about $3 million on last week’s NFL Draft — a big expense Pittsburgh is unlikely to get back. The city could at least cover the cost of overtime and additional personnel with a $2 million reimbursement from the state.
