Volunteer Kickoff Party

Want to make sure your LGBTQIA+ neighbors have enough food and supplies for the holiday season? Join Hugh Lane Wellness on Nov. 8 at 6 p.m to learn about the 2023 Harvest Friendsgiving distribution and other volunteer opportunities. There will be free pizza and refreshments!

Free Computer & Court Reporting Class

Starting next week, CCAC is offering six sessions of “Computer Basics” and “Internet Basics” in collaboration with Literacy Pittsburgh on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Homewood-Brushton Center. Veterans Day at Heinz History Center

Visitors and veterans alike can participate in a special Veterans Day flag folding ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the first floor Great Hall. All veterans will receive free admission to the Heinz History Center.

Pedal for the Pantry Alley Cat

Bring your bike to the 5th annual cycle on Nov. 18 to support the Wilkinsburg Community Ministry Food Pantry. The race starts at 1 p.m. at Two Frays Brewery in Garfield, then ends back there with an afterparty.
