Cheers to Help Unhoused Families

Save the date for Hearth and 11th Hour Brewing Co.’s block party on Sept. 30 from 12 to 7 p.m. with games, raffles, food truck grub, and more. Proceeds go toward supportive services for unhoused folks who are survivors of domestic violence or other trauma.

Are You a Vision, Dental, or Hearing Provider?

Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh’s annual two-day clinic on Oct. 27-28 needs more than 1,000 volunteers to provide free dental, vision, and hearing services for nearly 1,500 people. Patients will be treated on a first-come, first-serve basis at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center starting at 6 a.m. Dentists, dental hygienists, and certified dental assistants can earn three continuing education credits.

Call for Eco-Artists

The Triboro Ecodistrict and Artspiration are accepting applications for an exhibit in partnership with Contemporary Craft’s 2023 Climate Awakening Project: Crafting a Sustainable Future. Pieces should be powerful artistic responses to public health concerns, initiate conversation, and encourage social change. The exhibition will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, Nov. 4-18.
